Internship Program

The Colorado Mexico Trade Office (CMTO) internship program offers opportunities to work with area Trade Specialists. The CMTO depends on the Office of the Governor for Economic Development and International Trade, and as such, interns must be mature and professional. Interns are a vital part of our team and we seek the following backgrounds:

Strong interest in international business/relations and economy/PR

Computer skills (Word, Excel for Windows, PowerPoint, Internet)

Ability to work independently

Dependability (commitment to weekly schedule through end of internship period)

Strong written and verbal communication

Language skills

Interest in/experience with overseas work

Interns assigned to a Trade Specialist will be assigned specific projects which may include general market research, attending meetings, and contacting companies and delegations on behalf of the CMTO.

The internship is unpaid, although the experience gained is invaluable. Time commitment is generally 15-20 hours per week. Please send a resume to the attention of "Intern Coordinator" at: dmolina@coloradomexico.com or fax: (52) 3122-2963.
